Fashion designer L’Wren Scott has passed away at the age of 49. The designer, also well known as the girlfriend to Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger, was found by her assistant in New York. Many publications are reporting the designer hung herself in an apparent suicide, and police do not suspect foul play.
Mick Jagger has publicly acknowledged this tragic loss while on tour in Australia as saying he is “shocked and devastated.”
We met the designer a few times while she was in Toronto, and this news will surely come as a shock to her devoted clients. Our well wishes and condolences go out to her friends and family.
